RULES & REGULATION OF THE LTH GROUP ASIA MILLENNIALS RUN 4.0 2019

1. The LTH Group Asia Millennials Run 4.0 2018 (the Event) is organized by LTH Group Asia (“the Organizer”) with the full support of Prudential Assurance (M) Berhad and Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad in accordance with the LTH Group Asia Millennials Run Rules and Regulation.


2. By signing up for the Event, the Participant agrees that the Organizer might post the full race results on the website. By register in this event, the Participants hereby acknowledge that the Organizer will not be held responsible for any unexpected outcomes to the Participants that might cause from this event.


3. The Organizer reserves the right to modify or subside any of these Rules and Regulations of the Event from time to time as they deemed fit. If there is an ambiguity in any of the provisions, the Organizer shall be the authority to interpret and in doing so, the Organizer will take into account the interests of the entire affected Participants. Any updates on the Rules and Regulations of the Event will be notified on the official Event’s Facebook, LTH GROUP ASIA and it is responsibility of the affected Participants to keep abreast with any changes.


4. Completion of the official entry form, including online registration, confirms the Participant’s agreement to abide by all the relevant Rules and Regulations of the Organizer, Sponsors, and the LTH Group Asia Millennials Run 4.0 2019.


5. Registration for the race is only confirmed once the payment are made and upon the issuance of a race identification number.


6. The Registration fees for Malaysian Residents are in MYR. Refer to the Event’s Facebook for further details.


7. In consideration of the Participants use of the Event’s Facebook, the Participants agree to;

i) Provide true, accurate, and complete information contained in any registration form ( such information being the (“Registration Data);

ii) Maintain the security of their identification; and

iii) Maintain and promptly update the registration data to keep it true, accurate, current, and complete.


8. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Event at any time without prior notice to the Participants, in which case the Organizer will make effort to inform the Participants prior to the date of the Event. If the Event has to be cancelled or postponed, there shall be no refunds of fees or donations paid unless the Organizer deems fit to give a refund and the Organizer shall not be held liable for any loss or inconvenience caused.


9. There will strictly be no refunds available if the Event is cancelled for reason of force majeure i.e. due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the Organizer or acts of God, which renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the Event.


10. The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Event race routes as the Organizer deems fit for the safety of the Participants and /or to prevent any potential hazards in the running of the Event, at any time without prior notice to the Participants prior to the date of the Event. The Organizer shall not be held liable for any loss or inconvenience caused due to such changes.


11. While every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organizer to ensure the Participants’ safety, Participant run solely at their own risk and the Organizer will not be held responsible or be held liable for any injury or death howsoever arising from training for, during, or after participation in the Event. Participants are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination and/or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual Event Day.


12. The form on the reverse side of the Participant’s running bib must be completed in full and accurately. Participants must wear the assigned bib number visibly on his/her chest at all times. Participants who do not display bib numbers will be taken off the course by security officers/officials and immediately disqualified.


13. If the Participant’s original bib number is lost or cannot bib number. The Organizer reserves the right to amend or substitute any Participant’s running bib at any time without prior notice to the Participant.


14. Road closures on the Millennials Run Route will be lifted after five (3) hours and fifteen (30) minutes from commencement of the race (cut-off-time). Cut-off-times will be at specific checkpoints along the Millennials Run route to ensure the safety of runners who are unable to complete the race within the three (3) hours and thirty (30) minutes and to ensure that the roads can be re-opened to the public in accordance with the Eventpermit.


15. There is one (1) checkpoint, checkpoint 3 where officials will give you a wristband from the LTH Group Asia. It is your responsibility to ensure that you receive this wristband and wear it on your wrist until you have collected your finisher items. Only runners with this special PRUDENTIAL wristband will be collect finisher medal.


16. Participant must immediately withdrawal from the race, if required to do so by any member of the official medical staff, referee, and/ or security officer.


17. Pets, bicycles, in-line skates, prams, pushcarts or any other wheel-run objects is not allowed on the course other than official race and medical vehicles.


18. There will be STRICTLY NO REFUND of fees after the registration had been processed for Participant who cannot show up during the Event for whatever reason.


19. The Organizer reserves the right to use any photographs (including those of Participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the Event (including any programme(s), event(s), talk(s), demonstration(s) or any other activities associated before or after the actual Event Day), for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising, publicity purpose and distribution to Sponsors anywhere in the world.


20. The Organizer will not entertain nor be in any way responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete or inaccurate entry details in the registration form.


21. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel and/or add any race category without prior notice to the Participants


22. Participants are strictly not allowed to transfer their race entries to another party or change race categories after their registration have been confirmed, except through the official registration transfer module from the Organizer.


23. Any Participant who commences to run before the actual flag-off of his/her registered race category will immediately disqualified from the race.


24. Participants who do not start within 20 minutes of respective flag offs (5km, 10km, 21km), for safety reasons may not be allowed to start and will be immediately disqualified.


25. Participant must be a Malaysian who holds a valid Malaysian IC to be eligible to participate in these categories.


26. The Organizer wills not taking any responsible for any loss and/or damage, personal or otherwise, to the belongings and items deposited at the Event baggage storage provided for the runners. The Organizer also reserves the right to check any item or baggage deposited.


27. General rules for Millennials Run;

a) The Organizer reserves the right to replace any winners if he/she found disqualified.

b) For winners or potential winners, disputes and appeals must be made within 30 minutes of the published results on the results notice board on-site or immediately after the prize presentation, whichever is earlier, failing which the Organizer reserves the right not to entertain any disputes or appeals thereafter.

c) For all disputes, the Organizer's decision is final and no other disputesthereafter will be entertained.


28. Reasonable precautions will be taken by Millennials Run Committee to ensure the Participants’ safety, the Participant takes part in Millennials Run is at his or her own risk. To the fullest extent permissible by law, none of the Owner, Millennials Run Committee, Event Sponsors or Co-Sponsors will be responsible or held liable for any injuries or death howsoever arising from training for or during participation in Millennials Run. The Participant is strongly encouraged to consult his or her medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual race day.

 LTH Group Asia reserves the right to replace any winner if he or she is found to be disqualified.


 All prizes which are not claimed within one (1) weeks from submission of Winner’s Information for Prize Money Form will be forfeited and LTH Group Asia will be at liberty to redistribute or dispose of them accordingly.


 Prizes must be taken, in the forms as presented by LTH Group Asia. They are not transferable or exchangeable for cash and are subjected to the R&Rs and/or T&Cs as determined by LTH Group Asia


 In case of any disputes, the decision of the organizer shall be final and conclusive. No appeal or correspondence will be entertained.
